A Note About Our French Bulldog Puppy Application Process

The mailing list is used to make announcements regarding planned litters, whelped litters, and available puppies. We'll also use it to occasionally announce puppies that other breeders we respect have available. It is very low volume, and you are welcome to unsubscribe at any time - say, for example, if you find a puppy from another breeder.

Once we have announced we have a puppy available for placement to a good home, we'll then request that anyone interested send us a personal email message. After a resonable amount of time for response has gone by I will contact those that respond with an Email in the order I received their application. In this way those that have been waiting longest with an application in will be contacted first. I will contact you after I receive your application to let you know I received it. If I don't please shoot me an Email to be sure I received.

We have adopted this method of puppy placements because we're worried that our time constraints are causing us to miss wonderful homes or requests might get lost in the shuffle. We also are hesitant to contact people who have submitted applications months before hand. Since we don't breed dogs for a living, keeping track of all of the applications we receive has become a bit difficult and we're worried our puppies might be missing some fantastic homes. We want to make sure that anyone interested in a puppy from us is aware when we have pups available. We hope this new process will make that more possible.

If you have submitted an application form to us in the past, we will endeavour to keep in touch with you - however, we still strongly urge you to subscribe to our mailing list, so that your application is not overlooked accidentally. Fill out the information below to add yourself. You are also welcome to Email us or call Pacific time: (775) 267-7197.

Our frenchies come prespoiled and with a 1 year health guarantee, all shots and AKC papers. We raise our puppies with love and nurturing in our home. They are well balanced happy puppies. We also ask if for any reason you are not able to keep them years from now that we have the right to first refusal to get them back.

We're happy to answer any questions regarding your new French Bulldog Puppy. We love to hear from new owners about their new puppy and hope to receive pictures of our frenchies in their new homes. Our family is dedicated to raising happy healthy French Bulldogs that will provide you with years of companionship and enjoyment.

You can join our puppy mailing list below to recieve litter news and apdates. When we have new litters we contact those that respond to the announcement in the order that they added themselves to the list.

The difference between a "Mini" Frenchie and another breeders regular AKC standard Frenchie. The one on the left is of course a High Desert Frenchie. These two little girls are the same age. We breed "mini" AKC French Bulldog puppies for companions and pets (with spay/neuter contracts). We also breed AKC Frenchies that are still on the very small side, but big enough to compete in the show ring. Almost all our Frenchies are between 15 and 20 pounds when adults so the size difference isn't extreme. The Frenchies under 15 pounds usually come from singleton litters where they are an only child. I charge a bit more for these pups (if I don't keep him/her) due to the rarer size and because the costs are still the same as for a larger litter. We don't breed very often, just a couple of litters a year usually, so be sure to get on the news list for litter updates if interested in one of High Desert's French Bulldog Puppies.

We have recently started a High Desert Facebook blog, be sure to follow us:
